Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or have an active cancer as Infrared Therapy should not be used directly over or near a womb in pregnancy or directly over an active cancer. Also, let your doctor know if you are insensitive to heat. Also, there are no known side effects or drug interactions.
If you are opting to receive treatments first at a local Anodyne® Therapy Provider, check to be sure they accept your insurance. They will also explain if there are any out-of-pocket charges based on your insurance plan. Home systems are not covered by Insurance Companies, however, flexible payment terms are available.
Anodyne® Therapy Providers will tyically conduct a clinical assessment of your condition to determine the best treatment protocol and therapy that should accompany the Anodyne® Therapy treatment. They will ask you about your goals for therapy and work with you to achieve those goals. They will design a care plan that will include physical therapy interventions to help you with strength, flexibility, range of motion, balance, endurance, etc. based on your personal goals.

The Anodyne® Patient Model 120 is clinically proven to increase circulation and reduce pain, stiffness and muscle spasm and is ideal for patients suffering from pain or wanting to increase circulation to any part of their body – to include the feet and legs.
The Patient Model 120 uses exactly the same style of Therapy Pads as the Anodyne® Professional Models - and each Therapy Pad has 60 LED's. The only differences are that this in the Professional Systems and the Patient Model 120 is that thas only 4 Therapy Pads, and is pre-set at a safe setting for in-home use.
